Comments: Hi there: Doing some house cleaning and since I haven't had a record player for years figured I'd see if any Judy's fans wanted to buy a copy Washarama or Moo. Both jackets are in good condition, but had the shape of the lp pressed into them from spending many years in a cramped box. The edges of Washarama are starting to yellow and Moo has a tiny tear on its spine which obliterates most of "The Judy's" name on it. The Washarama disk is in great shape with no scratches. However side 2 of Moo has one across the first track. I've no idea if it effected the playback or not. Moo also includes the "Moo Booklet" (lyrics and album info). Comments: It seems that many peoplewould be interested in purchasing Judy's music. Why doesn't the band re-release the music and sell it on a website? It seems like they have a large enough following to more than break even on the venture.

Comments: Does anyone trade live recordings of the band? The mp3s on the website are great for the computer but they wouldn't sound good on the stereo system in Valhalla, the graduate-run pub at Rice University. I work there and would love to play some live Judys during my shift. Every once in awhile someone brings in a TV and VCR, it would be great to show off a video tape of them playing live.

Comments: A quick note to tell ya Im playing several Judy's songs on my Live365. 70's/80's Jangle Radio! I didnt grow up in Houston, but I discovered the group via copies of Washarama and the Wonderful World EP at a Longview TX thrift store about 10 years ago (and not for sale, sorry!). PS to the band members PLEASE Re-release this stuff on CD. If you cant do it check out www.notlame.com and Bruce might do it.

However, here in Austin, as a regular Antone's Record Store shopper, I can almost always get you Moo, Washarama, Modomusic, and WWo Appliances within a week or two of your request. If you NEED one or more and can afford $30-$50 each give me a nod. (Seriously, I won't be making much of a profit, even at these prices!) I did recently spot a Washarama LP in great shape for a buck but with 1/3 of the cover missing - shoulda got that for some poor soul - SORRY! Tellya what, for ten bucks, I'll sell the first person to respond a truly bizarre Judy's side project: a 45 called "First Love"/"Our Downtown" by Raymond. Side 1 is a VERY Judy's-like post-nuke love anthem, with bass by Jeffrey Walton! Sounds just like a Judy's tune fronted by a kinda lame substitute vocalist! (I have two copies, and tried to give 'em away to Michael Wilson and the guy at the other site, but neither one ever replied, so I'm sellin' one and keepin' the other! Comments: The concert with the Mod Ceasers on April 2nd was fantastic!! I'd never seen The Judy's in concert before and was quite impressed! My brother played in the Mod Ceasers, and I was so excited to see him and everyone else playing again. I thought the show was great, and I think that cd releases of The Judy's albums are long overdue. I was pretty surprised to see people younger than me completely taken by the music. It was a great idea, and such a wonderful time.

Comments: They David, Jeff and Dane played tonight from about 8pm until about 10pm at the Pearland Auditorium. It was not a reuniuon but a benefit for one of their close friends. Most of the crowd of about 300 or so went to elementary school, junior high or high school with the guys. Lots of people brought their kids!!

Comments: Hi, I picked up a copy of the "Moo" LP at a local Half Price Books about a month back for $4.95 and I was just wondering how much it is worth...the jacket and disc are in near perfect shape but my copy doesn't have an insert. I saw it listed for something like $88 on GEMM with the insert so I was just curious as to how much mine would go for. I would possibly trade it for other Texas punk records of the era.

"In the Music Hall The B-52's w/ The Judy's Benefiting the Nat'l Audobon Society Mon March 1 1982 8:00pm" On the back is a McDonalds coupon with all three Judys autographs. Dane's says "To Ricky". David's and Jeffery's are straight signatures. I normally would not be willing to part with this but I'm trying to save for a trip to San Francisco and need some cash.
